Godfrey Enjady is the General Manager and founder of the Mescalero Apache Telecom, Inc. as well as the Mescalero Gas Company which operates today at a profit with reach into Arizona markets and serves the entire Mescalero community. Mr. Enjady has over 16 years experience as a Technician/Analyst with CONTEL and GTE-Southwest in the installation and repair of residential phone systems, KEY and PBX business systems, data transmission as well as other aspects of OSP, ISP and customer relations. Mr. Enjady holds numerous certifications from the GTE Technical Schools. Mr. Enjady is a member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and also a member of the State of New Mexico Electrical Bureau Journeymen JS-7. | |
![]() Gary Goff, Operations Manager |
Gary Goff joined MATI in May 2000. Mr. Goff’s experience includes fifteen years as a technician in Central Office/Transmission/KEY, PBX installation; maintenance and repair; three yeas as Service Center Manager whose responsibilities included dispatch, repair, assignment, billing and order entry for CONTEL’s Western District in the Texas Division; eight years as Area Manager for GTE in several districts of Texas and New Mexico. He was responsible for all aspects of customer operations i.e. ISP, OSP, public relations) and 36 credit hours of business management courses. Mr. Goff has certifications in Lucent 5ESS Switch; NORTEL DMS 10 Switch; Siemens EWSD Switch; New Mexico ES07 Contractors License; NORTEL Option 51-81 PBX and the 1999 GTE President’s Leadership Award recipient. | |

Sharon Saenz joined MATI in April 2000 and is currently the only CABS manager who does her own billing within the seven tribally owned telecommunications company in the United States. Ms. Saenz’s skills include 24 years experience as administrative support staff. Seven years were as Executive Secretary to the late Mr. Wendell Chino, President of the Mescalero Apache Tribe, whose duties included maintenance of correspondence files, tribal member name changes, birth/death certifications, marriage licenses, compiling complaints to be heard by the Tribal President; in absence of the Administrative Assistant, Ms. Saenz supervised tribal employees and departments to ensure smooth operation of the tribal office and office equipment. Ms. Saenz worked in various accounting and administrative positions for fifteen years for the Mescalero Apache Tribe. | |
![]() Melanie O'Reilly, Financial Controller |
Melanie O’Reilly joined MATI in March 2000. Ms. O’Reilly’s skills include 15 years experience in accounting/bookkeeping with a large property management firm in Texas; 3 years as the Assistant Controller whose responsibilities included monthly financial reporting of four separate corporations; Accounts Receivable; Accounts Payable; Payroll production, payroll/workmen’s compensation reporting, employee benefits and 401(k) administration; four years as Assistant Regional Vice President responsible for supervising five customer service representatives; production of 30 monthly financial statements, bank reconciliation of 140 bank and investment accounts, interview, hiring and training of accounting personnel; database management and light PC maintenance. Eight years as Accounting Clerk involved in conversion of manual to computerized accounting system as well as general bookkeeping which included Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and bank reconciliation. Ms. O’Reilly has held many accounting and customer service certificates as well as credit hours of college accounting. | |
